She was born and raised in Bayou L’Ourse , a small community in Assumption parish near Morgan City, LA. Cherie graduated from Assumption High School in 1995 and from Nicholls State University in 1999, with a degree in Life Sciences with an emphasis in dietetics. She is married to Mark Coupel and together they have 4 children: Olivia, Nicholas, Reece and Abby. Cherie loves to cook, bake and travel. Her all time favorite thing to do is spending time with friends and family while enjoying the bayou life and beautiful picturesque landscape that God has given us in South Louisiana.
